Privacy, Support, and Terms
Effective date: July 8, 2026
The official product, privacy, support, and terms page for the Fake Filler Chrome extension.
Product
Fake Filler is a Chrome extension that fills web forms with meaningful fake data for testing. It helps developers, QA testers, and product builders test forms without repeatedly typing sample names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, and other common test values.
The extension works only when the user opens the popup and selects Fill Page. It does not auto-submit forms, does not run cloud-based form analysis, and does not save form templates or user-entered form data.
Fake Filler includes a 3-day trial. After the trial ends, continued use requires a one-time paid license. License terms, duration, device limit, and price are shown in the extension popup and checkout page before purchase.
Payments, taxes, checkout, license delivery, and payment details are handled by Dodo Payments as the merchant of record/reseller. The product creator and support contact is Jeyakarthick, India. Google and the Chrome Web Store do not sell or support this paid license.
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information the "Fake Filler" Chrome extension ("the Extension") handles and how it is used. We keep data collection to the minimum required to run the Extension and operate the paid license system.
Information the Extension handles
- Fake form values — the Extension generates fake names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, companies, dates, and similar test values locally in your browser when you select Fill Page.
- Page form fields — the Extension reads visible form field labels, placeholders, names, IDs, input types, and autocomplete hints on the active tab to decide which fake value should be inserted.
- License key — if you purchase a paid license, the license key you enter is stored locally on your device and sent to Dodo Payments to activate and verify your license.
- License activation instance — when you activate a paid license, Dodo Payments creates an activation instance ID so your license can be limited to the allowed number of devices and deactivated from this device later.
- Local installation identifier — a random ID is generated and stored on your device to label this browser installation during license activation. It is not used for advertising or tracking.
- Trial start marker — the Extension stores a local install timestamp in browser extension storage to calculate the 3-day trial period.
What we do not collect
The Extension does not collect, save, or transmit the form data on pages you use. It does not save filled values, form templates, website-specific profiles, browsing history, analytics events, or advertising identifiers. It does not send page contents to our servers.
How data is stored
Trial and license data is stored on your own device using the browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local). Fake form values are generated locally when you click Fill Page and are not stored by the Extension after the action is complete.
Who data is shared with
To operate paid licensing and checkout, purchase and license data is processed by our payment provider, Dodo Payments. The Extension sends license activation, validation, and deactivation requests directly from your browser to Dodo Payments. Dodo Payments handles that data under its own privacy policy at https://dodopayments.com/privacy-policy. We do not sell, rent, or share Extension user data with advertising companies, data brokers, or other third parties.
Limited use
We use Extension data only to provide user-facing functionality, trial access, license activation, license validation, support, refunds, fraud prevention, and security. We do not use or transfer Extension data for advertising, behavioral profiling, creditworthiness, or unrelated purposes.
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Data removal
You can remove local Extension data by uninstalling the Extension from your browser. You may also deactivate your license from the Extension popup. For purchase records, refunds, license-related deletion requests, or Dodo Payments data requests, contact us at the email below.
